• Does the surgeon have privileges to perform Facelift at an accredited hospital? Though some 53% of cosmetic surgeries are not performed in a hospital, privileges to perform Facelift indicate that the doctor is qualified and has the necessary training to be accepted by that hospital.

• Does the surgeon have training in ear, nose, and throat, as well as facial plastic surgery? This is an indication that a surgeon will be able to provide you with the highest level of training and expertise.

• For how many years has the surgeon been performing Facelift surgery?
• In which state(s) is the surgeon licensed to practice surgery?
• What is the most common complication the surgeon encounters with Facelift surgery and how does he/she address it?
• How often does the surgeon need to reoperate following Facelift surgery and what is the most common reason for reoperation?
• Does the surgeon have before and after photos for you to review of patients he or she has previously performed Facelift surgery on?
